Irish Dance Lessons
Siobhan Kilalea has been teaching Irish Dancing in Dubai for over 20 years. Dance lessons run 4 days a week for children ( boys and girls) from 4 upwards.
Siobhan teaches at the Ballet Centre in Jumeirah on Mondays and Tuesdays, the Lakes Club on a Tuesday and Haaya Club, in the Springs on a Wednesday.
Annual exams are conducted with The Commission of Irish Dance , who send an examiner every year.

Rose of Tralee Event
The Dubai Irish Society together with local and international sponsors has successfully entered a Rose from the UAE since 1994. The Rose of Tralee International Festival has connected the global Irish community since its inception in 1959 and it continues to draw strength from local communities throughout Ireland. The Dubai Rose event is scheduled to be held on the 22 April 2011, further information to follow shortly in the meantime please visit www.roseoftralee.ie.
The Rose of Tralee International Festival will take place from 19th to 23rd August 2011 and the new Rose will be crowned live on RTÉ One on Tuesday 23rd August. The Regional Finals of the Rose of Tralee, also hosted by Dáithí Ó Sé, will take place in Portlaoise from June 3rd to 6th 2011.
Tourism Ireland
Tourism Ireland is responsible for marketing the island of Ireland overseas as a holiday destination. Tourism Ireland has had representation in the UAE (and the GCC) since 2007 with Gulf Reps Ltd, a destination marketing representation company based in Dubai. In 2009, Tourism Ireland established a regional presence for the Middle East and Asia by opening a regional office in Jebel Ali, Dubai.
