The AGM of the Dubai Irish Society is open to all, so if you have any interest in finding out a bit more about what the Irish Society does, the events we organise, feel free to come along to the Majilis in the Irish Village at 8pm on 28th September. The Society welcomes people who want to get involved and lend a hand, even if it is only for specific events or activities. In the past year, the DIS organised
2 Ceilis – with up to 150 people
St Patricks Day Ball – 400 people
Progressive Dinner for Roses, Escorts and Judges
The Rose Ball – 220 people
Santa in the Desert for kids – with 120 people
Social Networking Night – with 120 people
Development of this Portal
These were events which were asked for and well supported by the Irish in Dubai. We want you to come along and tell us what you want from the “Irish in Dubai” and give the incoming committee some ideas for things to do and activities to undertake. Even better, get involved! We look forward to seeing you at the AGM.
